Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS)
rTMS is a non-invasive magnetic stimulation approach that can influence neuronal activity in targeted networks. Depending on the indication, it may support mood, stress processing and cognitive functions—always embedded in a physician-led diagnostic and treatment plan.
TPS — transcranial pulse stimulation
TPS uses impulses (shockwaves) and is discussed particularly in the context of neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and Off-label against Autism and Parkinson`s. At selected locations, TPS is part of the offering and can be integrated into an overall concept, based on medical assessment.

Many people plan compact treatment blocks over several days/ weeks or choose fixed visit days, combined with clear scheduling in advance. Where in Munich can I get rTMS?
There are two options in the Munich area: our partner practice for Dual Medicine on Dachauerstraße in the city centre, and Neuro-Spa München-Berg at Lake Starnberg, about half an hour south of the city. Addresses and contact details are listed above.
Is TMS therapy available in Switzerland?
Yes. TMS and rTMS are available in Zurich, at Seidengasse 18, 8001 Zurich. Depending on what the location offers, TPS may also be relevant. Contact: [email protected]
Can you do rTMS at home?
rTMS is typically delivered at a dedicated clinical location under medical supervision. If travel is challenging, sessions can often be organised as compact treatment blocks or fixed visit days.
How many sessions per week?
That depends on the protocol and your indication. Several sessions a week are often sensible, because the effect builds up over a series. The right frequency is agreed in your first consultation.
