Bei autistischen Kindern besteht eine angeborene, unheilbare Wahrnehmungs- und Informationsverarbeitungsstörung des Gehirns, die sich schon im frühen Kindesalter bemerkbar macht.
Die Informationsverarbeitung ist derart gestört, daß sich Schwächen in sozialer Interaktion und Kommunikation sowie in Wahrnehmung, Aufmerksamkeit, Gedächtnis und Intelligenz zeigen.
Neue Erkenntnisse zeigen, dass durch die rTMS Oxytozin freigesetzt werden kann. Oxytozin wiederum kann Symptome von Autismus verbesser.
